How to Set Up a Whitelabel Domain in GoHighLevel Agency Settings

By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2024-04-01. Updated 2026-06-02.

A whitelabel login domain replaces the default GoHighLevel URL with a subdomain you own, so clients log in at something like app.youragency.com instead of app.gohighlevel.com. You set the subdomain in Agency Settings, add one CNAME record at your domain registrar, upload your logo, and save. The whole setup takes under five minutes.

Summary. Whitelabeling the login domain makes GoHighLevel invisible to your clients, presenting a fully branded experience from the moment they sign in. The process involves picking a subdomain, pointing it to GoHighLevel via a CNAME record, and adding your logo, privacy policy, and terms links. Once saved, clients see only your brand on the login screen.

What you will learn

  • Find the whitelabel domain field in Agency Settings
  • Choose and configure a login subdomain
  • Add a CNAME record at your domain registrar
  • Upload a custom agency logo to the login screen
  • Add privacy policy and terms of service URLs for compliance

Steps

  1. Open Agency Settings

Click Settings in the bottom-left of your agency view, then select the Company tab from the top navigation.

  2. Enter your whitelabel domain

Scroll to the White Label Domain field and type your chosen subdomain, for example my.yourdomain.com or app.yourdomain.com. Choose something short and professional.

  3. Create a CNAME record at your registrar

Log into your domain registrar (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Crazy Domains, or similar), find the DNS editor for your domain, and create a new CNAME record. Set the host to the subdomain prefix you chose (e.g., my or app) and the target to whitelabel.ludicrous.cloud.

  4. Upload your logo

Back in Agency Settings, upload your agency logo at the top of the Company tab. This image appears on the branded login screen.

  5. Add policy URLs

Paste your Privacy Policy URL and your Terms and Conditions URL into the corresponding fields. These links appear at the bottom of the login screen.

  6. Save and verify

Click Save / Update Company. DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate. Visit your subdomain in a browser to confirm the branded login page loads correctly.

Tips

  • DNS propagation is usually fast with Namecheap but can take up to an hour with some registrars.
  • Use a subdomain like app, login, or my. Avoid the root domain, which will conflict with your marketing site.
  • Test the login page in a private browser window to see exactly what your clients will see.

Frequently asked questions

What CNAME target do I use for GoHighLevel whitelabeling?

Point your CNAME to whitelabel.ludicrous.cloud.

Will existing clients be affected when I switch to a whitelabel domain?

Existing sessions stay active. New logins will use the branded domain.

Can I use a root domain instead of a subdomain?

No. CNAME records only work on subdomains. Always use a prefix like app or login.

Do I need a separate SSL certificate?

No. GoHighLevel provisions SSL automatically once the CNAME resolves.

Where do clients go to log in after the domain is set?

They visit the subdomain you configured, for example app.yourdomain.com.
