How to Sell Paid Course Access Inside a GoHighLevel Community
By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2025-11-26. Updated 2026-06-02.
GoHighLevel Communities has a Learning tab where you can attach courses directly to a group and put them behind a paywall. You pick a one-time price or a recurring subscription, set the currency, and GoHighLevel handles checkout and access automatically. Free courses are still possible; paid access is optional and configured per course.

Summary. The Communities feature in GoHighLevel lets you sell course access without sending members to a separate platform. From the Learning tab inside a group, you attach an existing course, choose visibility rules, and set either a one-time or subscription price. Payment collection and member access are managed inside GoHighLevel, keeping community, training, and billing in one place.
Steps
Create the course first
Inside your sub-account go to Memberships, then Courses, and click Create. Build out the course content before linking it to a community.
Open your community group
Navigate to Communities, click Groups, and open the group where you want to sell the course. If no group exists yet, click Create Group.
Add and price the course
Inside the group portal, click the Learning tab, then Add Course. Select your course, set visibility to Buy Now, choose one-time or recurring, enter a price and currency, and save.
