By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2025-09-30. Updated 2026-06-02.
GoHighLevel automatically saves your work every 10 minutes while you edit websites, funnels, stores, webinars, or blogs, so a crashed tab does not cost you hours of work. The version history stores up to 50 saved versions per page, and you can restore any earlier version with one click. Global sections like headers update across all pages when changed, and the system warns you before applying those broader changes.

Summary. GoHighLevel's auto-save feature captures changes every 10 minutes across websites, funnels, e-commerce stores, webinars, and blogs. The version history panel shows a timestamped list of all saved versions for the current page, and restoring any version takes a single click. Global headers and footers show a confirmation prompt before saving changes that affect multiple pages.
Steps
Find version history for a page
Inside the site or funnel builder, click the versions icon near the top of the editor toolbar. A panel opens showing all saved versions for that page.
Restore a previous version
Click on any version in the list and choose Restore Version. The page reverts to that state immediately.
Understand auto-save timing
GoHighLevel saves a new version every 10 minutes when changes have been made. The editor shows a saving indicator at the top. Up to 50 versions are kept, with older ones removed as new ones accumulate.
