How to Turn a GoHighLevel AI Draft into a Live Lead Funnel

By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2026-04-28. Updated 2026-06-02.

GoHighLevel AI Studio can generate a landing page from a text prompt and save it as a draft. From that draft you can connect contact forms and booking calendars to your CRM, build an automation that fires when someone submits the form, and publish the page to a custom domain, all without leaving GoHighLevel.

Summary. AI Studio in GoHighLevel accepts a plain-text prompt and builds a landing page draft with the layout, colors, and lead capture elements you describe. Once the draft exists, you connect its calendar to an existing GoHighLevel calendar, wire up an automation triggered by form submissions, and publish the page to your custom domain. The result is a fully connected page that captures leads and pushes them into your pipeline automatically.

Steps

  1. Generate the page in AI Studio

Go to AI Studio on the left side of your sub-account. Type a prompt describing the page you want, including the business type, lead capture elements, and color preferences, then press Enter.

  2. Open the draft and review the design

Once the draft is saved, click on it to enter the design tab. Scroll through the page to confirm the layout and lead capture sections are in place.

  3. Connect the booking calendar

If the page includes a booking section, type the name of the calendar you want to use in the left panel. The booking element syncs to that existing GoHighLevel calendar automatically.

  4. Build an automation for form submissions

Go to Automations and create a new one from scratch. Set the trigger to External Tracking Event, add a filter for Form Submitted, then add an action such as sending an SMS. Publish the automation and save.

  5. Publish the draft to a live page

Return to AI Studio, open the draft, and click Publish in the top right. Select your custom domain, set the page icon, title, and meta description, then click Apply Changes. The page goes live immediately.
