The GoHighLevel mobile app includes a business card scanner that reads a card's details through your phone camera and creates a contact record automatically. Open the app, tap the plus button on the Contacts screen or the lightning bolt icon, choose Scan Business Card, point the camera at a card, and confirm. The contact is added to your CRM in seconds.

Summary. GoHighLevel's mobile business card scanner removes manual data entry when you meet someone in person. Hold a business card in front of your phone camera inside the LeadConnector or white-label app, and the scanner captures the name, phone number, and email. After a quick confirmation tap, the contact is saved to your CRM with all the details filled in. This makes it practical to add contacts on the spot at networking events or conferences.

Steps

  1. Open the LeadConnector or White-Label App

Launch the GoHighLevel mobile app on your phone. The scanner works in both LeadConnector and any white-label version of the app.

  2. Go to the Contacts Screen and Tap the Plus Button

Navigate to the Contacts section. Tap the plus button to open the options menu, then select Scan Business Card.

  3. Alternatively, Use the Lightning Bolt Icon

From the Contacts screen, tap the lightning bolt shortcut icon and choose Scan Business Card from that menu as a faster route.

  4. Point the Camera at the Business Card

The camera opens automatically. Hold the business card steady in the frame. The app captures the card automatically without requiring you to press a button.

  5. Review and Save the Contact

The scanned details appear on screen, including name, phone number, and email. Check that everything looks correct, then tap the checkmark in the top right to save the contact to your CRM.
