How to Whitelabel Your GoHighLevel Desktop App

By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2023-05-11. Updated 2026-06-02.

Whitelabeling your GoHighLevel desktop app replaces the default app.gohighlevel.com login URL with your own branded domain. It also swaps the GoHighLevel domain on embedded forms and calendars for your domain. The setup requires two CNAME records at your DNS provider, then two URL fields saved in Agency Settings under Company.

Summary. This tutorial explains how to connect a custom domain to the GoHighLevel agency desktop app so clients and team members log in through your branded URL instead of the default GoHighLevel address. It covers the two CNAME records needed at your DNS provider and where to enter the white label domain and API domain in Agency Settings.

Steps

  1. Add your domains in Agency Settings

Log in to your agency, go to Settings, then Company, and scroll down to find the White Label Domain and API Domain fields. Enter your branded subdomain for each (for example, app.yourdomain.com and link.yourdomain.com).

  2. Create two CNAME records at your DNS provider

In your DNS provider (such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, or Namecheap), create a CNAME record with host 'app' pointing to app.msgsndr.com. Then create a second CNAME with host 'link' pointing to link.messagecenter.com.

  3. Save and verify

Return to Agency Settings and click Update Company to save both fields. Once DNS propagates (usually within a few minutes to an hour), users can log in through your branded URL and embedded forms will display your domain.
