GoHighLevel SaaS Mode: What It Does and How to Use It

By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2026-05-28. Updated 2026-05-28.

In short

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode turns GHL into a product you sell under your own brand. You set your own pricing (e.g., $297/mo, $497/mo, $997/mo), connect Stripe, and GHL handles billing and account provisioning automatically. When a client signs up through your funnel, GHL creates their sub-account and charges their card on your behalf. You keep the margin between what you pay GHL and what your clients pay you.

  • Included in the Pro plan at $497/mo only
  • Set any price for your plans; you keep all margin above your GHL cost
  • Stripe connects directly; GHL provisions sub-accounts automatically on signup
Plan availabilityPro plan only at $497/mo. Not available on Starter ($97/mo) or Unlimited ($297/mo).
Usage costYour Pro plan is $497/mo. Each sub-account you create for a client uses one sub-account slot (or you pay per additional sub-account above your plan limit). You set what you charge clients independently.

What GoHighLevel SaaS Mode does

SaaS Mode is the business model layer on top of GoHighLevel. It lets you take everything GHL does and sell it as your own product under your own brand name.

You design your pricing plans (Starter, Growth, Pro at prices you set). When a client signs up, GHL creates a sub-account for them, charges their Stripe card on your schedule, and sends the welcome email you configured.

You white-label the entire platform: your logo, your color scheme, your domain, and optionally a white-labeled mobile app. Clients never see the GoHighLevel name.

Rebilling is built in. You can charge clients for SMS, email, and AI usage at any markup you choose. If GHL charges you $0.01 per SMS, you can bill your client $0.02 and keep the difference.

How to set up SaaS Mode

First, upgrade to the Pro plan in your GHL account settings. SaaS Mode only activates on Pro.

Second, go to Settings, then SaaS Configurator. Connect your Stripe account.

Third, create your pricing plans. Give each plan a name, a price, and the features it includes (which sub-account capabilities are enabled, what usage caps if any).

Fourth, build a signup funnel. This is a GHL funnel with an order form connected to your SaaS plans. When a client completes the order form and enters their card, GHL creates their sub-account.

Fifth, load a Snapshot into each plan so every new client starts with a pre-built setup for their niche.

Sixth, configure the welcome email, the client portal domain, and the mobile app (if you have the mobile app add-on).

The economics of SaaS Mode

You pay GHL $497/mo for your Pro account. On top of that you pay for sub-account slots if you exceed your plan limit, and for usage (SMS, email, AI) across all sub-accounts.

You charge your clients at any price you want. A common model is to charge $297 to $497/mo per client and include a certain amount of usage credit per month.

Once you have enough paying clients, the math works: with 10 clients at $297/mo, you bring in $2,970/mo in subscription revenue. Your GHL cost and sub-account costs are a fraction of that. The rest is margin.

The rebilling model on usage costs (SMS, email, voice) adds a second margin layer. Some agencies charge clients 2x to 5x the GHL usage rate, turning a cost center into additional revenue.

SaaS Mode vs the standard agency model

The standard agency model is: you pay for GHL, you build everything for clients, and you charge a retainer for your time. You own all the sub-accounts.

SaaS Mode flips this: clients pay their own recurring subscription directly through your Stripe. You are running a software company, not a services agency. The work is building and maintaining the platform once, then selling access repeatedly.

Many agencies start with the standard model and layer SaaS Mode on top. They sell a Snapshot-based product at a lower price point and keep the high-ticket retainer for clients who want hands-on service.

Frequently asked questions

Is SaaS Mode only on the Pro plan?

Yes. SaaS Mode is exclusive to the GoHighLevel Pro plan at $497/mo. It is not available on Starter or Unlimited.

Can I set any price for my GHL SaaS plans?

Yes. You set your own prices for every plan you create. GHL does not dictate what you charge your clients.

Do my clients see the GoHighLevel brand in SaaS Mode?

No. SaaS Mode gives you full white-labeling. Your clients see your brand name, logo, and domain. GoHighLevel is not visible in the interface.

How does billing work in SaaS Mode?

You connect your Stripe account. When a client signs up through your funnel and enters their card, Stripe charges them on your billing cycle. The money goes to your Stripe account, not to GHL. You then pay GHL separately for your Pro plan.

Can I cancel a client account through SaaS Mode?

Yes. You can manually deactivate a sub-account from your agency view, or set up SaaS Mode to automatically deactivate accounts when a Stripe subscription cancels or payment fails.

What is the white-label mobile app in SaaS Mode?

GHL offers a white-label mobile app add-on (separate cost). Your clients download your branded app from the App Store and Google Play. It carries your name and logo, not GHL or Lead Connector.
