What Is a White-Label Domain in GoHighLevel?

A White-Label Domain in GoHighLevel is a custom domain you configure so your clients access GoHighLevel at your branded URL, such as app.yourcompany.com, instead of the default app.gohighlevel.com.
In plain English
When you run GoHighLevel in SaaS Mode, you are selling clients access to a platform. If they see "gohighlevel.com" in the address bar, they know what software you are using and could go buy it themselves. A white-label domain hides that. Clients log in at your URL, see your logo, and have no reason to look past your brand.
Setting up a white-label domain requires you to add a CNAME DNS record at your domain registrar pointing to GoHighLevel's servers. GoHighLevel then serves the app from your custom subdomain. It handles SSL automatically, so the connection is secure.
White-label domains apply to the main app login. You also have separate settings for white-labeling the API URL, the email sending domain, and the mobile app domain. Each is a separate configuration step.
How it works
In Agency View, go to Settings and find the White Label domain section. Enter your custom subdomain, for example app.yourcompany.com. GoHighLevel shows you the DNS records to add. You add those records at your domain registrar (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.). After DNS propagates, GoHighLevel activates the domain and your clients use the custom URL.
You also set your logo, primary color, and browser tab title in the same settings area. These combine with the white-label domain to give clients a fully branded experience.
Frequently asked questions
What is a White-Label Domain in GoHighLevel?
A white-label domain is a custom subdomain you set up so clients log into GoHighLevel at your branded URL instead of app.gohighlevel.com. It hides the GoHighLevel brand from your clients.
Do I need a custom domain to use SaaS Mode?
You do not strictly need one to run SaaS Mode, but most agencies set one up. Without it, your clients see "gohighlevel.com" in the browser, which undermines the white-label positioning.
Does GoHighLevel handle SSL for my custom domain?
Yes. Once the DNS record is active, GoHighLevel provisions an SSL certificate for your white-label domain automatically.
