What Is a Rebill in GoHighLevel?

By Marnix Geerkens. Published 2026-05-28. Updated 2026-05-28.

Rebilling in GoHighLevel is the agency feature that lets you mark up the cost of usage-based services (SMS, email, AI credits, phone calls, and more) and charge clients more than what GoHighLevel charges you, keeping the difference as margin.

In plain English

GoHighLevel charges agencies for usage: each SMS costs a fraction of a cent, each email costs slightly more, AI usage runs on credits, and phone minutes add up. Without rebilling, these costs come straight out of your agency wallet and reduce your margin.

With rebilling enabled, you set a markup multiplier on each service type. You might charge clients 1.5x or 2x what GoHighLevel charges you. GoHighLevel bills you at cost and bills the client at your marked-up rate, from a wallet you fund on the client's behalf or from a Stripe card the client connects.

For many agencies, rebilling turns the usage bill from an expense into a profit line. A client sending 10,000 SMS per month at a markup of 1.5x generates meaningful monthly revenue beyond the subscription fee.

How it works

In Agency View, go to the billing or SaaS settings and enable rebilling. Set the markup percentage for each service type: SMS, email, AI credits, voice calls, and any others GoHighLevel makes available. You can set different markups per service.

Each sub-account has a wallet balance. You add funds to the wallet, and GoHighLevel draws from it as the sub-account consumes usage. With rebilling, GoHighLevel charges the client's wallet at your marked-up rate. The difference between cost and markup stays in your agency wallet.
