Summary. The GoHighLevel prospecting tool includes a Point of Contacts tab that shows individual team members at any business you are researching. Each profile lists the person's role, areas of expertise, social media accounts, company email, and phone number. This level of detail helps you identify decision-makers quickly and decide where to start a cold outreach conversation, whether that is LinkedIn, email, or phone.
What you will learn
- Navigate to the Point of Contacts tab inside any prospect record
- Read role, expertise, and location data for individual contacts at a business
- Find linked social media profiles and open them directly from the tool
- Use job title and skills to identify the decision-maker before reaching out
- Choose the right outreach channel based on where a contact is most active
Steps
Open the Prospecting Tool
From your sub-account sidebar, navigate to the Prospecting section. You will see a list of prospects you have already added.
Select a Prospect
Click the name of any prospect in your list to open its detail view.
Click the Point of Contacts Tab
Inside the prospect record you will see a new tab labeled Point of Contacts. Click it to load the list of people who work at that company.
Review Individual Contact Profiles
Each entry shows the person's job title, listed skills and expertise, and their location. Use this to spot who holds buying authority.
Open a Social Media Profile
Click any linked social media icon, such as LinkedIn or Facebook, to open that profile in a new tab immediately.
Note the Contact Email and Phone
The company email and phone number are listed directly on the profile card. Copy them into your outreach sequence or CRM notes.
Choose Your Outreach Channel
Look at which platforms the person is active on. Reach out where they post and engage rather than defaulting to cold email.
Tips
- If a contact has an active LinkedIn profile, that is usually a better starting point than a generic company email.
- Use the job title to filter out people who cannot approve a purchase before spending time on outreach.
