Choose an agent and a place to run it
OpenClaw is an open-source assistant with messaging, browser and file tools. Hermes is a separate agent from Nous Research, with memory, skills and scheduled tasks.
Agent Loader hosts these tools. A running cloud instance can remain available 24/7. That gives an agent somewhere to work after you close your computer. It does not automatically create a useful schedule or finish every task without your input.
The image above shows the public homepage, not a completed customer job.
Start with one daily research note
Choose a small task you can check yourself. For example: review three public supplier pages and prepare a short comparison each morning.
- Choose an agent and check which tools its hosted setup supports.
- Connect supported AI access. Give it only the pages and files needed for this task.
- Ask for a one-off draft first: “Compare these three pages. Include source links. Mark anything you cannot verify. Save a short note.”
- Open the sources and review the note. Check names, dates and missing information.
- If the result is useful, configure a supported schedule. Set a usage limit and check the next run. Keep purchases and outgoing messages for your approval.
This is a suggested first workflow. Test it in your own workspace before relying on it.
Hosting and AI usage are separate
The Agent Loader homepage describes three AI access options: a supported existing subscription, your own API key, or managed AI on supported agents. Hosting keeps the workspace available. Model access powers its responses. Provider limits and usage charges still apply.
Check the available setup and current terms inside the product before committing to a plan.
