GoHighLevel sub-accounts

In short
A sub-account in GoHighLevel is a fully separate workspace that sits under an agency account. Each sub-account has its own contacts, funnels, workflows, calendars, phone numbers, and settings. The agency admin can see and manage all sub-accounts from one dashboard. This structure lets agencies run dozens of clients from a single login without their data mixing together.
The agency and sub-account hierarchy
When you sign up for GoHighLevel on the Unlimited or Pro plan, you get an agency account. The agency account is the top-level admin. Inside it, you create sub-accounts, one for each client or business you manage.
Each sub-account is completely isolated. Client A cannot see Client B's contacts or campaigns. But you as the agency admin can switch between them instantly from the top-level dashboard.
What each sub-account contains
A sub-account has everything a standalone GoHighLevel account has: its own CRM, funnels, workflows, calendar, forms, email and SMS settings, pipelines, and reporting. You can copy configurations from one sub-account to another using Snapshots.
Phone numbers and email sending domains are set at the sub-account level. This means each client has their own number and branded email domain, while billing for usage rolls up to the agency.
How many sub-accounts do you get?
The Unlimited plan ($297/month) and the Pro plan ($497/month) both include unlimited sub-accounts. The Starter plan ($97/month) is a single account and does not support multiple sub-accounts.
There is no extra charge per sub-account. You can have one client or one hundred on the same Unlimited plan subscription.
Frequently asked questions
What is a GoHighLevel sub-account?
A sub-account is an isolated workspace for one client or business, managed from inside an agency account. It has its own CRM, funnels, workflows, and settings, but you can access it from the agency-level dashboard.
Do I need the Unlimited plan for sub-accounts?
Yes. Sub-accounts are available on the Unlimited plan ($297/month) and the Pro plan ($497/month). The Starter plan ($97/month) is a single-account setup without multi-client support.
Can I move contacts between sub-accounts?
You can export contacts from one sub-account and import them into another. There is no built-in one-click transfer, but the CSV export and import process is straightforward.
Can a client log in to their own sub-account?
Yes. You can create a user seat inside a sub-account with limited permissions so the client can log in and see their own data without access to other clients.
