You build your course content in GoHighLevel, gate it behind a login, and sell access with GoHighLevel payments or a connected Stripe integration. Members get a portal where they access their purchased content. This replaces separate tools like Teachable or Kajabi for many businesses.

Building a membership site

Inside GoHighLevel, you go to the Membership (or Courses) section and create a new product. You add categories, modules, and lessons. Each lesson can hold text, video, audio, files, and embedded content.

You can organize content into a clear curriculum with categories and sub-categories. Students see progress indicators as they complete lessons.

Access control and drip content

You control who can see what. You can release content immediately on purchase, or drip it over time: lesson 1 today, lesson 2 in three days, lesson 3 in a week. Drip schedules keep students engaged rather than overwhelming them with everything at once.

Access can be tied to an active subscription. If a subscriber cancels, their access can be removed automatically.

Selling membership access

You sell access through GoHighLevel funnels or embedded payment forms. GoHighLevel connects to Stripe for payment processing. You can sell one-time access, subscriptions, payment plans, or free access (for lead magnets or free courses).

Workflows connect purchases to membership access automatically: when a payment is made, the workflow grants access to the specific membership product.
