What changed
SaaS Mode billing improved in several areas:
- Stripe Connect. The integration is more stable and handles a failed client card better. A failed payment now starts an automated dunning sequence that retries the charge and notifies the client.
- Flexible plan pricing. You can offer annual plans next to monthly ones and set a discount for annual billing. That gives clients a reason to commit longer and lowers your churn.
- Usage rebilling for AI. It is easier to add AI usage (Voice AI minutes, Conversation AI messages, workflow AI actions) to the rebilling setup. You set your markup and the system bills the client.
- Wallet management. The wallet, which holds the credit balance for usage-based features, shows more and alerts you when a sub-account wallet runs low.
This is a general summary. For exact version numbers and release dates, check the official changelog in your GoHighLevel account.
Who this affects
- Agencies running a SaaS Mode business. Better dunning reduces involuntary churn, and annual plans lock clients in. See the white-label SaaS launch playbook.
- Anyone rebilling AI usage. Less manual tracking of usage costs. See the AI employee suite rebill playbook and the Voice AI rebill pricing guide.
- New SaaS Mode users. Stripe Connect setup is simpler now. The Stripe Connect for SaaS Mode billing playbook walks through the configuration.
What to do next
If you already run SaaS Mode, check your plan settings for the annual billing option and consider offering it to new clients. Review your AI rebilling setup to make sure usage costs flow through correctly.
If SaaS Mode is new to you, the SaaS Mode glossary entry explains the concept, and the SaaS Mode overview covers the full feature set and helps you decide if it fits.
