Who we are

RocketLauncher is a small software company founded by Marnix Geerkens and Ben Vandersanden, based in Belgium. We run rocketlauncher.ai, a live GoHighLevel showcase and a free community for entrepreneurs, founders and builders. We are the people responsible for the data described on this page.

What we collect

Only two things reach us from you directly.

• Waitlist forms. If you join a waitlist, we collect your name (optional) and email address, and your consent to be contacted.
• Questions you ask. If you use Ask, the question you type is processed to find an answer. If the site cannot answer it, we may keep the question text (up to 500 characters, without your name or email) as an idea for new content.

Our servers also see technical data in every request, such as your IP address, browser type and country. We use it to deliver the page, to limit abuse (for example, rate limits on forms) and to count link clicks, see below.

How we use your information

We use your name and email to run the waitlist you joined and to send you updates about it. We use click and question data to understand which content is useful. We do not use your data for anything else.

Link clicks

Links to our community and to GoHighLevel go through addresses on our own site (/join/... and /go/...). When you click one, our server reports the click to our own backend: the link name, your language, the site you came from, your country, your device type (mobile or desktop) and a daily visitor code. That code is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser details that changes every day, so it cannot be traced back to you and cannot follow you across days. We do not store a cookie for this.

Where your data lives and who processes it

We use a few services to run the site. Each one only sees the data it needs.

• Vercel hosts the site and sees standard request data such as IP addresses.
• PostHog receives anonymous page visits and tracked link clicks through our server. Events include the page path and a random visit code kept only in memory. Query strings, URL fragments, form contents and personal profiles are excluded. We disable geolocation enrichment and do not record sessions.
• Google Analytics receives page visits and tracked link clicks only after you allow analytics cookies. We exclude query strings, URL fragments and referring page addresses. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled.
• GoHighLevel stores waitlist contacts (name, email and a list tag). The site sends them from our server. There is no database on this site.
• Our own backend (the Brain), run by us, receives click reports, unanswered Ask questions and serves the lesson and resource data to our server.
• Vercel AI Gateway sends your Ask question to an AI model (Anthropic) to pick the matching passages from our own content. The question text is the only thing sent. Do not put personal data in it.
• YouTube serves the videos. The player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click play. Until then, only a thumbnail is shown, loaded through our own server. After you click play, YouTube handles your data under its own privacy policy.
• Skool hosts our free community. If you click through to Skool, Skool handles your data under its own privacy policy.
• If you use our free website scanner or tech stack detector, our server fetches the website address you enter. This site has no database, so nothing is saved on the site itself.

We do not use Supabase, Resend, Make.com, Microsoft Clarity or session recording on this site.

Cookies and similar storage

The site keeps your sidebar preference and analytics choice in local storage on your device. Anonymous PostHog analytics sets no cookies and stores no visitor identifier in your browser. Its random visit code resets when the page is reloaded.

Google Analytics loads and may set analytics cookies only after you choose to allow it. You can decline, or withdraw permission using Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page. Opening those preferences immediately stops Google Analytics events and clears its accessible first-party cookies. We run no advertising pixels or session recording.

Your rights in the EU

If you are in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, take a copy of it and object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, message us in RocketLauncher University. You do not need a special form or a lawyer. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.

How long we keep your data

We keep waitlist data until you ask us to delete it or the waitlist ends. Click reports hold no name or email. Ask, and your data is gone.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

Our partner relationship

We are an independent GoHighLevel partner. When you click our trial link, you leave our site and go to GoHighLevel. From that point GoHighLevel collects and handles your data under its own privacy policy, not ours. We earn a commission if you start a trial through our link, at no extra cost to you.

Children

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date on this page. Bigger changes get a clear note.
